Truong Dinh (1820 - 1864), born in Binh Son, Quang Ngai province, led a military uprising against French colonial rule in the Gò Công region from 1859 to 1864. He was later revered as the Great Marshal of the West. Cô Giang (1909 - 1930) - tên thật là Nguyễn Thị Giang, là một nhà cách mạng người Việt chống Pháp, đảng viên Việt Nam Quốc dân đảng.
Trương Định (1820 - 1864) sinh tại Làng Tư Cung huyện Bình Sơn, tỉnh Quảng Ngãi. Lãnh đạo nghĩa quân chống Pháp những năm 1859 - 1864 tại Khu vực Gò Công. Ông được nhân dân suy tôn Bình tây Đại Nguyên Soái.
